This Big Game commercial begins with a shot of a post-apocalypse landscape the day after the Mayan predicted end of the world. Everything is destroyed, but from under a pile of rubble, a Chevy Silverado starts its engine and drives out. A man and his dog are inside and they drive through the destroyed city looking at all the damage. We see a Big Boy statue on fire, a giant damaged robot, a huge crashed UFO / flying saucer, and smoking volcanos. The man meets up with 3 other guys in Chevy trucks, and asks "Where's Dave?" Unfortunately Dave drove a Ford truck and didn't make it. While they don't have their friend Dave, they do have Twinkies which is a common post-apocalypse joke - Twinkies can last forever and survive a nuclear explosion. At the end, it starts raining frogs, showing that their end-of-world problems aren't quite over. Where's Dave? Dave didn't drive the longest lasting, most dependable truck on the road. Dave drove a Ford. Twinkie? Yeah. Chevy Silverado, from the beginning of your work day to the end of the world. Chevy runs deep.
