This partial live action and partial stop-motion commercial features numerous characters from various household objects communicating with each other with the TalkTalk service. It begins with a (live-action) woman talking with someone through her laptop computer. Behind her is a dollhouse with a housewife doll in the kitchen who seems sad. A superhero action figure is watching her and seems upset that the woman is sad. An Eskimo inside of a snowglobe looks longingly at a cuckoo clock where the mechanical cuckoo bird is walking around inside. The bird peeks out of the clock's door back at the snow globe. Inside the train station of a model train set, the ticket agent watches a man and child (live-action) talking on their computer to the real woman on the other end. Suddenly, we hear a notification sound and the housewife doll runs to her mini computer to see a message from the superhero. The Eskimo with his family and the cuckoo bird start talking next. The film follows LT Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, a young Naval aviator who aspires to be a top fighter pilot in the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School, which trains the top 1% of all Naval aviators. Maverick gets his chance to attend the school after one pilot drops out, allowing him and his Radar Intercept Officer, LTJG Nick "Goose" Bradshaw to train with the best.
