During the Land Ship parade, four port-a-potties are placed in front of the restaurant to Bob's dismay.

Jules cheats on her physical exam, then gets unexpected news when the urine sample she got from Laurie shows that Laurie is pregnant. Laurie and Travis face a possible break-up after Andy puts them in a fake marriage to help him at his job, and they realize they want different things in life. Now it's up to Jules to fix things and reveal the news to them. Meanwhile, Grayson and Bobby challenge a group of youngsters to a break dancing "break-off", but reconsider when they find out they will be grandfathers.

When Bobby's boat suddently goes missing, Jules and Bobby bring back their detective personas, "Blacktop" and "Gumshoe", in order to solve the mystery. Grayson helps Andy win over his new supervisor by teaching him "the neg," and Andy later tries the technique on Ellie. Elsewhere, Laurie and Travis attempt to decorate her apartment together as couple, which leads to their first fight.

Travis starts an open mic night at Coffee Bucks to bring some culture to the venue, but his plan backfires when Andy shows up with his lame stand-up comedy act. Meanwhile, Tom's daughter Haylee (guest star Julianna Guill) comes to visit, and Grayson and Jules hesitantly play along when they discover that Tom's been lying to Haylee, saying Jules is his girlfriend.

Jules enlists Andy to be her business partner in a get-rich-quick scheme after she receives a large commission check. Meanwhile, Grayson tries to act cool around Travis's new hipster friends, and Bobby struggles to feel comfortable with his new man-bag.

After Travis and Laurie have Jules and Grayson over for brunch, Jules attempts to prove that she and Grayson are the better couple. Andy plans a beach day for Stan to try and convince him that he is a fun dad. Meanwhile, Tom discovers a draft of a teen novel (Travellers) in a box of yard sale junk he purchased, and he tries to help Ellie finish it after she reveals she started writing it years ago.

After Jules lies to customers at the annual cul-de-sac yard sale, Laurie teaches her about karma. Andy uses some of his new yard sale purchases to test Ellie after betting her that she is unable to go a whole day without being snarky. Meanwhile, Bobby must overcome his phobia of rollercoasters to fulfill his grandfather's dying wish.

The town is transformed into a pirate's cove for Buccaneer Week. Andy pleads with Ellie to appeal to tourists by bringing out her alter ego, "Charming Ellie", attempting to step up his mayoral duties. Andy's friendship with Bobby is tested when Bobby tells a crowd of tourists that the beach needs to be closed after he spots a large jellyfish. Meanwhile, Laurie starts baking "naughty cakes" to increase sales.

Jules forgets to pay the bills after moving them online, which results in her car insurance lapsing. Her wedding ring slips off her finger while driving, and in trying to retrieve it she crashes into a wealthy man named Sam (guest star Matthew Perry). In exchange for Sam overlooking the accident, Jules agrees to date him. Meanwhile, Bobby prepares for a big snow after hearing there's a slim chance of a few flakes falling in Gulfhaven, and Ellie tries to poke holes in Laurie's long list of amazing life stories.

Jules finds it difficult to cope with Travis and Laurie being a couple, now that the relationship has become very physical. Meanwhile, "Penny Can" has gone international and Bobby starts receiving royalty checks. Bobby then goes on a frivolous spending spree, causing Grayson to not-so-politely remind him of his years-overdue bar tab.

Beverly can't resist a good sale, even if it is something the family doesn't really need. Murray tells Beverly to stop her bargain hunting despite her protests that she is saving the family money in the long run. Meanwhile, Pops takes Adam and Barry to a race track.

Mayor West is brought on trial for murder, leaving Brian to try and clear his name.

Jules can't find a remedy for her insomnia. Grayson gets injured in a roller hockey game. Ellie makes herself scarce when Andy is feeling especially amorous around Valentine's Day.

When Tom gets a new girlfriend, Jules and Laurie suspect she is a golddigger and decide to investigate. Bobby goes on a fake date with Ellie to improve his table manners, and after getting fed up with the girls' rules, Andy and Grayson rebel.

Jules frets about a lack of passion in her marriage to Grayson, but input from Ellie makes their relationship almost too hot to handle. Meanwhile, Laurie helps Travis locate his inner hero, and Bobby tries out a new personality.

Jules excuses Travis from "family night", but is worried by his extended absence. Meanwhile, Ellie finds success in training Andy like a dog, and the guys try to grow mustaches like Tom Selleck.

Jules and Grayson are in their first week of marriage, but it's not all wedded bliss for the latter, who has a lot to learn about being Jules' husband. Meanwhile, Bobby tries giving fatherly advice to Travis after he turns 21, and Ellie and Laurie console a depressed Jules when Grayson won't apologize for what he did in her dream.

In the second part, Ellie finds herself attracted to a helpful Napa hotel concierge named Daniel, which makes Andy jealous. Travis is forced to deal with his feelings for Laurie when her army boyfriend Wade shows up at the wedding. Jules calls off the wedding because Grayson's daughter can't be there. Back in Florida, Jules and Grayson have a quick wedding on the beach with her father, Chick, serving as the minister. As the beach wedding is in violation of local ordinance, the police arrive to stop it (with one of the officers being played by the show's co-creator and executive producer Bill Lawrence). The gang keeps moving the wedding farther down the beach, until Jules and Grayson are able to ride off on Chick's horse as a happily married couple.

In the first part, anger over losing his privacy causes Grayson to tell Laurie that Jules only invited her to be her co-bridesmaid out of pity. As a punishment for Jules, the gang begins to repeat the same day over and over again until Jules apologizes. Bobby, Andy and Travis struggle to recapture the fun of "Penny Can". Still six months away from the big wedding planned, Grayson asks to Jules to "run away" with him and get married in Napa Valley.

It is the day before the Harvest Festival and trouble seems to be brewing. A local Wamapoke is upset because the Festival grounds are on top of an Indian burial site and suggests that if the Festival is not moved it will be cursed. To make matters worse, Li'l Sebastian, a mini-horse who is the pride of Pawnee and an attraction at the Festival, goes missing on Tom's watch and reporter Joan Callamezzo is determined to humiliate Leslie with the Festival's failure. April tells Andy she loves him, but is less-than-pleased with his response and Ann, working as a Festival medic, is hit on by an obnoxious patient. With his recent media scandal still unforgotten, Ben feels that he is responsible for the curse and abandons the Festival.

On Valentine's Day, Jules wishes that Grayson would share his feelings with her; Andy "dates" Bobby; and Travis ask Laurie's help to buy a nice gift for Kirsten.

Jules comes up with a creative type of hide-and-seek game when Travis can't fix the TV for the gang's movie night; the gang meets Bobby's new friend.

Laurie tells Jules that she doesn't have to change the way she is for the people around her when she becomes Jules' houseguest; and Bobby is jealous that Travis has asked advice to Grayson.

Jules begins to question her relationship with Grayson; Kirsten throws Bobby off his golf game; Ellie is upset that Andy used their joke on Laurie.

Jules has mixed feelings when Travis gets accepted to two of his choice colleges, now he must decide between schools in California or one just 20 minutes from home. As Jules struggles with the thought of Travis moving away, Grayson is there for her. Meanwhile, Laurie considers her feelings for Smith when he returns from law school, and Andy longs for the freedom to do whatever he wants around the house, free of Ellie's rules.

Jules is determined to prove to Grayson that women and men can be friends without any sexual undertones. Meanwhile, with Jules' encouragement, Andy buys a motorcycle from Laurie - to Ellie's dismay - and Travis joins Bobby on a man-trip for some "noodling," only to be mortified by his discovery of what noodling actually is.

Laurie needs a co-signer to buy her first condo and finds her less than stellar, absentee mother no help at all. Meanwhile, Bobby is mugged by a woman and Travis comes to Barb's aid after her latest cosmetic surgery procedure.

When everyone else makes plans for Valentine's Day, Jules looks to Grayson for company, only to learn he hates the holiday. Meanwhile, Bobby and Jules are at an impasse over letting Travis go to a party, Ellie is determined to triumph as alpha dog over Grayson, and Laurie meets Smith's dad.

Meanwhile, Jules left Travis with his dad Bobby, who has to be responsible and deal with his son.

The 1988 murder of a Philadelphia news anchor is investigated after it is determined she was killed before she was able to report on a scandal involving a local factory's deadly working conditions. The victim is seen by one of the employees of the company she was trying to expose.

Freamon tracks Partlow to a Stanfield resupply and makes multiple arrests including Partlow, Stanfield, and Cheese. Carcetti holds a press conference to celebrate the arrests. Stanfield is suspicious of an informant and orders Snoop to kill Michael. Michael realizes the danger, murders Snoop, and goes into hiding. Suddenly homeless, Dukie moves in with the street vendors. Stanfield learns that Omar used his name on the street and is enraged. Greggs goes to Daniels about McNulty's actions. Bubbles celebrates a sobriety anniversary and reporter Mike Fletcher writes a profile about him. Haynes launches a more thorough investigation into Templeton's lies.
