Kiss

The commercial begins backstage at a concert of a door with KISS's logo on it. Members of the band (Gene Simons and Paul Stanley) burst through the door. They start walking forward talking to the camera while two girls walk past into the backstage area. Gene Simons holds up a can of Dr. Pepper Cherry. Instead of popping the tab, he rips of the entire top of the can in one swipe. They get closer to stage area near some scaffolding and someone on the crew hands him a glass with ice. He pours the red colored soda into the glass and takes a big sip. They then show "KISS" on stage behind a curtain, but you can see their silhouettes. The curtains open, and you see instead of the real band, the band "Mini Kiss" is on stage in full KISS black and white makeup and goth gear. The members of this band are dwarves (aka midgets), and are a real (and quite popular) Kiss coverband. The real KISS band members join them on stage and they play together. The matching members mimic each other, play and sing together including with the dual battle axe guitars. Fire is blasting up from the stage and Gene Simons holds another can of Cherry Dr. Pepper. Paul Stanley: This is ??? Gene Simons: And this is Dr. Pepper Cherry. It's amazingly smooth, because it's got a little kiss of cherry flavor. Paul Stanley: This isn't going to work. Gene Simons: Oh, it's gonna work. A "little KISS" of cherry. KISS: They call me Dr. Love! Gene Simons: You can't beat a little kiss. Trust me, I'm a doctor. Marshall has a bachelor party and Lily has a bridal shower. Barney ruins the bachelor party, and Robin buys Lily a vibrator as a gift, unaware that the party's guests are almost entirely Lily's elders. Lily later reveals that Barney went to great lengths to make sure she and Marshall reunited.

Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park (known as Attack of the Phantoms in Europe and Kiss Phantoms in Italy) is a 1978 television film, starring American hard rock band Kiss. The film's plot revolves around Kiss, who use their superpowers to battle an evil inventor (Abner Devereaux, played by Anthony Zerbe) and to save a California amusement park from destruction. NBC aired the film at the height of Kiss' popularity in the United States. Due to the film's poor acting and semi-comedic script, most Kiss fans disliked the film. Despite the film's poor quality, it has attained cult film status. The members of Kiss themselves despised the film for making them appear buffoonish. For years after its airing, no one who worked for the group was permitted to mention the film in their presence.
