The film was nominated for a Golden Globe, an Emmy (both for Keener's performance) and a Writer's Guild Award. Because of internal problems with the film's original distributor, First Look International, the film was not released theatrically. Downtown: A Street Tale is a 2004 American drama film. Its focus is on a group of teenagers and twentysomethings living in the basement of an abandoned factory on 10th Avenue in Manhattan. Their leader is ex-junkie and hustler Angelo (aka Kick), who serves as a father figure to the motley crew that includes gay African American hairdresser Lamont; mentally challended Hispanic Tito; Latina stripper Ashley; upper class drug addict Hunter; Romanian prostitute Raquel; and newly arrived from Texas rock star-wannabe Billy and his pregnant girlfriend Cheri. Added to the mix are social worker Aimee Levesque, who operates the fictional shelter Haven House (based on the real-life Covenant House) and keeps an eye on Angelo and his street kids; and a pornographer, a strip-club owner, and a wheelchair-using drug dealer. Their stories are told in a series of vignettes unfolding in the days just prior to Christmas.

The Yards is a 2000 American crime film directed by James Gray. It was written by Gray and Matt Reeves, and stars Mark Wahlberg, Joaquin Phoenix, Charlize Theron and James Caan. The setting is the commuter rail yards in New York City, in the boroughs of the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn. In the film's plot, bribery, corporate crime and political corruption are commonplace in "the yards," where contractors repair railway cars for the city Transit Authority (TA). Rival companies sabotage each other's work to win bids. The undercutting leads to murder.

waydowntown is a 2000 film directed by Gary Burns exploring office culture and its effects. The film is set in Calgary, Alberta, where many downtown buildings are connected by the Plus 15, an extensive network of indoor skywalks. Because of this network, the hustle and bustle of the traditional "main street" has been replaced by recirculated air, food courts, and fluorescent lights. Drop Dead Gorgeous is a 1999 American dark comedy film directed by Michael Patrick Jann and starring Kirstie Alley, Ellen Barkin, Denise Richards, Brittany Murphy and Kirsten Dunst. Shot in a mockumentary format, it follows the contestants in a beauty pageant called the Sarah Rose Cosmetics Mount Rose American Teen Princess Pageant, held in the small town of Mount Rose, Minnesota. The film is also the feature film debut of Academy Award-nominated actress Amy Adams.

Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss is a 1998 American independent, gay-themed romantic comedy film written and directed by Tommy O'Haver and starring Sean P. Hayes, Brad Rowe, and Meredith Scott Lynn. The film was a breakthrough performance for Hayes, who would go from this film to his role as Jack McFarland on the hit television show Will & Grace.

The Last Time I Committed Suicide is a 1997 drama directed by Stephen T. Kay. Based on a letter written by Neal Cassady to Jack Kerouac, it stars Thomas Jane as Cassady. The cast also includes Keanu Reeves, Adrien Brody, Gretchen Mol and Claire Forlani. The film takes place in 1946, and is loosely based on a letter from Cassady to Jack Kerouac. While the letter was written in 1950, the action of the letter took place when he was 20.

Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould is a 1993 Canadian biographical-anthology film about the pianist Glenn Gould, played by Colm Feore. It was directed by Francois Girard, with a screenplay by Girard and Don McKellar. The film is presented as a series of 31 short films rather than as one narrative. Segments include documentaries, consisting of interviews with individuals who knew the real Gould, and reenactments of episodes in Gould's life. "Gould Meets McLaren" employs animated spheres from Norman McLaren's filmography. The film received positive reviews and won four Genie Awards, including Best Motion Picture.

Four years after the events of the original film, another great white shark arrives on the shores of Amity Island. He has to act alone to save the group of teenagers, including his two sons, who encounter the shark while out sailing.

The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun (French: La Dame dans l'auto avec des lunettes et un fusil) is a 1970 psychological thriller film directed by Anatole Litvak starring Samantha Eggar, Oliver Reed and John McEnery. It is based on Sebastien Japrisot's 1966 novel La Dame dans l'auto avec des lunettes et un fusil. The film was remade in 2015.

The plot centers around an Irishman, Finian McLonergan, who leaves his homeland to come to America with a pot of gold taken from a leprechaun. Og, the laprechaun follows McLonergan to the US to take back his gold before he turns into a human.

A Countess from Hong Kong is a 1967 British comedy film written and directed by Charlie Chaplin and starring Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Tippi Hedren and Sydney Chaplin, Chaplin's third son. It was the last film directed, written, produced and scored by Chaplin, and one of two films Chaplin directed in which he did not play a major role (the other was 1923's A Woman of Paris), as well as his only color film. Chaplin's cameo marked his final screen appearance.

The Huggetts Abroad is a 1949 British film starring Jack Warner, Kathleen Harrison, Petula Clark and Susan Shaw. It was the final film of The Huggetts. The film was less commercially successful than its predecessors. A sequel, Christmas with the Huggetts, was planned but never made.

Red, with help from Blanca, tries to entice Piscatella into the prison. Linda has sex with Big Boo. Red tries to guess Humphrey's smartphone password, and ends up cutting off his fingertip to access it using his thumbprint. Another riot breaks out, but this time it's because they are out of coffee.

Peggy is forced to face some unpleasant facts about a client's discriminatory business practices. Don and Faye's burgeoning relationship is tested when Sally runs away from home and turns up at the office. Roger tries to rekindle his affair with Joan. Miss Blankenship unexpectedly drops dead at her desk.

Jack, Sayid, Kate, and Juliet return from the Others' camp and because of his insistence to trust Juliet, the rest of the survivors question the motives of Jack. A mysterious illness strikes Claire, activated by an implant from the Others inside her. Juliet cares for her. Flashbacks show Juliet's time on the island. Juliet is kept on the island against her will and unable to save women who get pregnant on the island from death. Flashbacks also show Juliet conspiring with Ben to be a mole in the survivors' camp.

Jack is imprisoned in the Hydra, an underwater Dharma Initiative station, and interrogated by an Other named Juliet. Kate and Sawyer are kept in nearby cages. Sawyer tries to escape with a teenage Other named Karl, but they are caught. "Henry Gale", whose real name is Ben, is revealed to be the leader of the Others. In flashbacks, Jack obsessively tries to find out who his wife Sarah is having an affair with during his divorce settlement. Jack suspects his father and attacks him at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Jack is arrested and bailed out by his wife.

Francis gets emancipated, while Malcolm deals with a new teacher.

Jerry takes his car to a fanatical car care mechanic (Brad Garrett). Jerry's car is stolen by the mechanic.

He gets in and starts having run ridding a huge metal roller coaster through the city. It loops, spins, and drops past buildings, bridges, and a train. As it goes past an apartment, the man riding the coaster sees a woman in just a towel shaving her legs and he looks back at her. The ride takes a quick stop at a breakfast stand where the man picks up something to eat and pays with his Barclaycard through his smartphone.
