Perrier's Bounty is an Irish crime thriller comedy set in modern-day Dublin. Describing it as an "urban western", sophomore director Ian Fitzgibbon directs the film, which stars Brendan Gleeson, who plays the villainous title character, as well as Cillian Murphy and Jim Broadbent as son and father. Filming was completed in late January 2009, and premiered at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. It was released in the United Kingdom and Ireland on 26 March 2010.

Cherrybomb is a drama film released in the United Kingdom in 2009, starring Rupert Grint. Filming began on location in Belfast on 7 July 2008, and lasted four weeks. The film involves nudity, drinking, drugs, shop-lifting and stealing cars. It was released to DVD on 23 August 2010 in the UK. It is currently awaiting release in the US.

Five Minutes of Heaven is a British/Irish film directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel from a script by Guy Hibbert. The film was premiered on January 19, 2009 at the 25th Sundance Film Festival where it won the World Cinema Dramatic Directing Award for Oliver Hirschbiegel, and the World Cinema Screenwriting Award for Guy Hibbert.[3] It was broadcast on BBC Two on 5 April 2009, and also had an international theatrical release. The first part reconstructs the historical killing of 19-year-old Jim Griffin by 17-year-old Alistair Little in 1975, and the second part depicts a fictional meeting between Little and Jim's brother Joe 33 years later.

The TV Set is a 2006 comedy-drama film about an idealistic writer attempting to bring his vision for a TV show to fruition on the small screen.

Edgeplay: A film about The Runaways is a 2005 documentary that was produced and directed by former Runaways bassist Victory Tischler-Blue. Edgeplay chronicles the history of the all-teenage-girl rock band The Runaways, whose members included future rock stars Lita Ford and Joan Jett.

Code 46 is a 2003 British film directed by Michael Winterbottom, with screenplay by Frank Cottrell Boyce. It was produced by BBC Films and Revolution Films. It is a disquieting science fiction love story with themes that explore the moral impacts of advances in biotechnology. The soundtrack was composed by David Holmes under the name "Free Association". The film was shot in Dubai, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Rajasthan (picturised as Jebel Ali) and many interiors in London, both for logistic reasons and because the juxtaposition of elements of these cities offered a believable futuristic setting.

One Day in September is a 1999 documentary film directed by Kevin Macdonald examining the 5 September 1972 murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany. Michael Douglas provides the sparse narration throughout the film. The film won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2000.

After accepting some cheap speed from some violently friendly Scottish blokes, Tim has spent all night fighting zombies (or, more accurately, hallucinating while playing Resident Evil 2) and Mike has somehow managed to get to Sheffield on the Tube. Daisy has a job interview at a classy women's magazine ("Flaps") and Brian has an invitation to a new art show by Vulva, his former partner and non-gender-specific-ex-chaste-heterosexual-lover. This causes much angst and feelings of inferiority all around. "Girl Power!" fails to impress the magazine editors, Brian's much-practiced air of indifference fails to impress Vulva, and Tim's Twiglets allergy and hallucinations of zombies leads to Vulva getting a much-deserved punch in the face. The episode concludes with Daisy's idea for performance art, a parody of Bruce Nauman's work "Clown Torture", which leads Tim to remark that it is obviously harder than it looks.

Daisy Steiner and Tim Bisley meet in a small cafe and bond over their mutual search for accommodation (he has been kicked out by girlfriend Sarah, she is a squatter desperate to escape her down-and-out acquaintances), and gradually form a friendship. Just when all seems lost, they stumble upon what seems to be a perfect place - trouble is, it is listed as being for a 'professional couple' only. Thus begins a complicated plan involving faked photos and memorizing every significant (and not-so-significant) fact about each other to pass themselves off as a long term couple in order to fool Marsha Klein, their prospective landlady. To their mutual surprise, it works.
