Capitalism: A Love Story is a documentary film by Michael Moore. It focuses on the economic downturn from 2007-2009 and the various governmental stimulus plans to try to correct it.

Phil and Carol leave the cul-de-sac, and at one point lived in the White House and Carol's old apartment. However, they both argue about returning to Tucson, with Carol believing that they should go back, and Phil fearing the outcome of his return. Later on, Phil unknowingly abandons Carol, and goes on a frantic search party. Reluctant to do so but desperate to find Carol again, he decides to return to Tucson, only to find tragedy there. Meanwhile in space, Mike loses another companion while searching for human life through a telescope.
