SLIDE is the fourth project in the 'Amazing in Motion' series and this time, we've challenged ourselves more than ever, in order to create something unique. The Lexus hoverboard represents true engineering innovation and over the coming weeks, we'll be bringing you regular updates on the progress of this extraordinary project. Follow the conversation using #LexusHover This ad begins with a skateboarder riding in a skate park. He then steps off his skateboard and walks over to another board that has what appears to be smoke or steam coming off of it. The camera angle changes, and we can see this one is floating above the ground. The commercial stops just as the guy starts to step on it. The "steam" is actually condensation because the hoverboard has liquid nitrogen inside it which is part of what helps it hover. It's not a commercial product, and when it runs out of liquid nitrogen, it doesn't hover. Still, physics is cool. "There is no such thing as impossible. It's just a matter of figuring out how."
