Doug wants Carrie to continue with her training sessions with Lou. In trying to convince her to keep up, he tells her she is the wind beneath his wings. Carrie tells him his wings will still work without the wind, Doug says the Oscar-winning song must be wrong then.
Carrie mentions that she could stand to lose a couple of plans, and Doug comes up with a way to trick her into losing weight. He says he wants to lose weight with her, and enlists the help of neighbor, Lou Ferrigno as their trainer. When Doug finds out that Lou has been forced to give up video games by his wife, he formulates a plan. Lou will train Carrie to help her lose weight, but when it's Doug's turn Lou plays video games while Doug rests and snacks. Meanwhile, Arthur sees an old episode of $10,000 Pyramid on which he was a contestant. At the end of the show he hears that all contestants were promised a year supply of Rice-a-Roni, of which he never received. He sets out on a mission to get his San Francisco treat, after all these years.
