The Unit's newest member, Bob Brown, quickly learns the ropes from the team after terrorists hijack a business jet in Idaho. On base, Bob's wife adjusts to the shock of learning that her husband is part of the team trying to rescue the airline hostages.

While Vaughn's life hangs in the balance, Lauren butts heads with Sydney after learning the part she played in his stabbing. Meanwhile, Sydney further questions Sloane's allegiances after he is kidnapped by Kazari Bomani, a kingpin in The Covenant; Jack's cover is jeopardized when he meets with Simon to dig up information on Sydney's missing two years; and Marshall is sent on his second mission with Sydney, posing as a high-stakes, southern gambler.

When a runaway girl is found dead underneath a freeway overpass, Crews and Reese are struck by the death scene. Just when they are close to capturing the killer, they realize they've stumbled on another crime, a kidnapping from 12 years ago. Meanwhile, Crews takes action towards the case against him.
