Macy's Commercial
Dates: November 2010 - March 2011
This Television Commercial plays Seasons of Love composed by Jonathan Larson
This commercial begins with an image of the hand of a tiny newborn baby lying on his mother's chest. We then see an old woman receiving a gift at what may be an anniversary party. We then see a boy running off the soccer field in the rain to his mother who has a heart necklace on. Then, a little girl is shown bringing breakfast in bed to her mother who receives a star necklace (for Mother's Day?). A couple holding hands while running at the beach have on gold bracelets, a group of women are dancing at a club, and a young boy gets a haircut in a large barber's chair. Then comes a woman jogging with a stroller, and a newlywed couple at their wedding where the bride shows off her new ring. Fine jewelry for over 150 years. For every celebration, that's the magic of Macy's. (Lyrics) Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes (525,600 minutes), Five hundred twenty-five thousand Moments so dear.
