When Eddie takes his car into the shop, he decides it's time for a new set of wheels and purchases a red convertible sports car. Joy recognizes that Eddie's passion for his new car is part of his mid-life crisis, so in a play for his attention she flirts with her co-worker. Meanwhile, Kenny buys Eddie's old clunker and tricks it.

Jeannie goes to an old friend in order to secure a government contract for the firm. She is advised to re-evaluate some of the firm's clients. Marty continues business with Dollahyde, but it is taken too far ending with unexpected results; Doug makes a move on Caitlin after discovering trouble in her own personal life; Clyde tries to manipulate Monica's golden ticket client in order to one-up her in their ongoing feud.
