This commercial begins with a little girl looking out a window at a robin in a nest full of blue eggs. Next we see a mother using a hand pump to put air in an inner tube for another girl to go swimming. Then we see a family posing on a couch for a picture dressed in nice new outfits. A cuckoo clock starts going off as a young girl plays ping pong with herself by bouncing the ball off a small table and the wall. She meets her friend outside and they drive off in a yellow and white classic car (a Nash Metropolitan). A hummingbird flies around as an older woman looks at it through binoculars. The little girl with the inner tube is finally all filled up, but she has trouble fitting through the door because the tube is so full around her waist. Finally at the end, a couple walks up the fire escape on a building to fly a kite from the roof. This commercial addresses the frustration that people have with sales and coupons. You do your shopping, and find out that you either just missed a great sale, or you get a coupon to save a lot of money after you've already bought something. JC Penney, which is now under new management, intends to change all that with everyday low prices instead of making you wait for sales or use coupons. The commercial begins with a woman shopping in the jewelry section of a department store. A sign above her says, "67% off, Yesterday only" and she screams, "Noooooo". Another woman is walking by a store and notices an advertisement for a jacket at 62% off that she is already wearing. Another woman is shown furiously clipping coupons, and another is annoyed by the piles of coupons and sale papers that fill up her mailbox. Next is a guy waiting in line at 4am for a sale, and a man looking at a sale flier while his dog looks on confused by his anger. An older man is intimidated by all the sale signs as he goes up the escalator. At the end, there is a quick montage of people yelling and screaming, "No" because they just can't take it any more.
