Plot / Description
"Jameson Irish Whiskey - The Great Fire"
This ad shows the tale of The Great Fire of 1789 in Ireland. The entire city is on fire, and to save his whiskey, the famous distiller John Jameson comes up with an idea. He climbs to the top of the local dam and breaks it open causing the city to flood. It does cause a lot of further harm to the city and its inhabitants, but the whiskey is saved, and everyone agrees that it was for the best.
When The Great Fire of 1789 reached his distillery, John Jameson devised a brilliant plan, but there was simply no time, so he devised another less brilliant plan. In the end, the not-so-brilliant plan saved the whiskey, and all of Ireland agreed: catastrophe averted.
