At Dove, we are committed to creating a world where beauty is a source of confidence not anxiety. So we created Dove: Patches and invited women to discover how the right state of mind can unlock a powerful feeling of beauty that lives inside all women. Become part of the journey that will empower women around the world with the message that beauty is a state of mind.

I woke up this morning feeling really refreshed.
I think I feel more confident.
I don't know what's going on, but whatever it is, I like it.
We invited women to be part of a research group testing a revolutionary product. RB-X is a beauty patch developed to enhance the way women perceive their own beauty. My name is Ann Kearney-Cooke and I am a psychologist and a distinguished scholar at Columbia University. I've been conducting scientific research about women for the last 30 years.
I almost kind of avoid mirrors lately, because I've been a little uncomfortable with things.
I definitely pick out a lot of bad things with myself. Like right here on my nose.
If I was more confident I would have the ability to approach a guy, maybe.
I did have a lot of confidence. Having kids, I've lost a lot of that.
Everybody wants to be younger. Why can't being older be good?
I think you're going to go through a journey that is gonna be amazing for you.
So there's two components. One is a beauty patch and another is a video diary you're gonna keep each day.
Leave it on for 12 hours. It's not gonna hurt you or anything like that.
It is day one with the beauty patch.
It felt like just a normal day.
So far, not feeling more beautiful.
I don't really feel too much changes.
Well, let's see. Nah.
If I'm walking, I find myself rubbing the patch. You know I just wonder if it's working.
One of my co-workers, she said that I looked really pretty and I thought that was really cool.
Everything that I set aside to wear today was showing my arms. And my arms are one of the things that I usually try to cover the most.
I feel beautiful no matter if I'm sick, tired or the fact there's a pimple on my nose.
I felt very comfortable in my skin today.
And sometimes I just, I see somebody and I smile. And I don't know why.
I went dress shopping. There's no way in the world two weeks ago I would've been able to do this.
And what is your feeling like now, coming back after two weeks?
Definitely been a life-altering experience.
I've been more social with the patch on.
More comfortable in clothes I didn't wear before. More comfortable doing my hair differently. Showing off my face more.
I've definitely opened up something inside of me to make me feel this great.
Would you buy the beauty patch?
I would. I honestly think I would.
I'd love for people to have the type of change that I've had by trying the beauty patch.
Do you have any interest in knowing what's inside the patch?
And if you can just turn that over. Can you see more?
Oh my gosh. There's nothing in the beauty patch?
It's just a patch?
Just a patch.
I was really expecting there to be something to really see that there's nothing in it, just like, it's crazy.
I'm beautiful, I'm strong and I'm independent and I can just be whoever I want to.
Now knowing I don't need something to make me feel that way, it's just, that's just who I am? And it was kind of hidden and now it's not anymore. It's very empowering.
I wanted it to be about me and not a patch.
