Description
"GM Robot"
This 2007 Super Bowl ad shows GM cars being put together on an assembly line. One of the assembly robots drops a bolt and the entire line comes to a halt. He is fired and has trouble finding meaningful work after that. He tries holding for sale signs and holding the speaker/microphone for a drive through. Everywhere he looks, there are GM cars and he gets depressed and decides to jump off a bridge. After splashing into the water, he wakes up from a dream back in the factory. GM's new 100,000 mile warranty has everyone worried about quality control - even the robots.

(Lyrics)
Livin' alone
I think of all the friends I've known
When I dial the telephone
Nobody's home
All by myself
Don't wanna be all by myself anymore
