Mods and rockers, Beatle freaks, punks and skunks and kooks and geeks. Pretty much sums up Levi's.
My fantasy was to be a cowboy. Levi's were part of having a cowboy outfit.
Wearing Levi's was an act of rebellion.
When rock music kind of came to the fore, it had a lot to do with honesty. I think people saw like wearing denim on stage as kind of a symbol of that.
If you're rockin' a Harley, of course you're gonna have on a pair of salty old Levi's.
They attracted the girls. Let's be honest.
It was and still is the garment of the outlaw. The rock-n-roller, the biker, the punk rocker.
It's like it's sort of against the law to just be the chick that's just like, happy with wearing jeans and a T-shirt.
I guess it's very American . We are the people who always head west and make something out of nothing. This item of clothing has transitioned to all those time and found its place.
