Plot / Description

"1986 - The California Raisins"
The California Raisins were a claymation fictional rhythm and blues musical group composed of anthropomorphized raisins created on behalf of the California Raisin Advisory Board.

This claymation ad shows a group of construction workers sitting on a metal I-beam during their lunch break. One guy opens his lunch box, and his raisins are putting on a concert.

Oh, I heard it through the grapevine
Raised in the California sunshine

California raisins from the California vineyards

Dontcha know that I heard it through the grape vine.

Sounds better than what I've got
