Description

Candles
The commercial begins with a closeup of the flame on a single candle. We are then shown a group of people singing the well-known "I'd like to Teach the World to Sing" (also known as "I'd like to buy the world a Coke") song. This commercial is basically a remake of the original commercial filmed on a hillside, but this one differs in that 1) the music is more "Christmasy" in that it is more choir-like, and the music contains bell sounds; 2) everyone is holding candles instead of bottles of Coca-Cola; 3) everyone is sitting instead of standing; 4) they are arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree, and when the camera pans back, all of the candles look like lights on a tree.

Voiceover, Dialog, Spoken Text, Script, or Lyrics

I'd like to buy the world a home
and furnish it with love.
Grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves.
I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony (perfect harmony).
I'd like to buy the world a Coke
and keep it company (that's the song I sing).
I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony (Coca Cola).
I'd like to buy the world a Coke
and keep it company (it's the real thing).
