Ever since its beginnings, the Rak’n’Roll charity foundation has been working towards the improvement of the quality of life of cancer patients. However, collecting money for charity is hard and occasional. That’s is why the Rak’n’Roll decreased its income by 20% in 2017.
Grey Poland together with local brewery made a new beer brand and turned it into a self-sufficient donation engine. There were 1500 bottles, and with each sold bottle a donation of 50 Eurocents was made to the foundation. Remaining income was spent on brewing the next batch of beer. Furthermore, the beer name is the registered charity number. If you add it to your tax form, donation will be transferred to Rak’n’Roll. Before the end of the tax year we already gathered 50% more tax based charity donations than in 2017.

Collecting money for charities, even cancer-fighting charity like Rak'n'Roll is hard and occasional. To make it constant and easy, we created a beer together with Inne Beczki brewery, we brewed a beer and turn it into a self-sufficient donation engine. Every bottle donates .50 euro cents to Rak'n'Roll foundation, and the remaining income is spent on brewing the next batch of beer. We also named the beer after the foundation's registered charity number to make donations by a bank transfer much easier. The beer is alcohol free to keep focus on percent of donation rather than percent of alcohol. Journalists, connoisseurs and celebrities loved it because everybody had finally a good reason to drink a beer. Over 15,000 Raknroll beers reached many shops, bars, and countless hearts of Poles. 0000 338 803 became the most famous charity account number in Poland. With the tax year being not finished, we already gathered 50% more tax charity than last year. Cheers!
