#IMoveMe - Novak Djokovic | ASICS
Novak Djokovic comes from a country and a family that didn’t have a tennis tradition. He picked up tennis by chance, and the moment he hit the ball, he was in love. That passion still remains till today, and it’s this same spark of inspiration that he wants to pass on to future generations of athletes.

I come from a family that didn't have any tennis tradition, neither did my country. So I picked up a tennis racket, you can say, by chance, but it was a destiny really. I came from, you know, certain kind of conditions and situations in life, which were completely the opposite of now. So when I arrived to the point where I was the best tennis player in the world, childhood days just started going through my mind and I was full of emotions.
Movement is probably the most important aspect of my training. Only when I am balanced, in all physical, mental, emotional bodies, I am able to shine and I am able to get the best out of myself.
You know, I try to remind myself that I'm not alone here. Just being grateful that I have that opportunity to play and to share that amazing moment with so many people on the stands and around the world. And that's the biggest motivation I can get.
Novak Djokovic started his life in war-torn Serbia.
Defying all odds, he went on to become the No. 1 ranked tennis player in the world.
