Did I really see what I thought I saw
a play that will remain in their memories for the rest of their lives.
On that day, I was about 110 yards away. Very high up in a corner of the end zone. It was not an ideal view. As a radio play by play broadcaster, I want to make sure that our listeners are aware of the Score, the time, the down, the distance. Eagles leading 15 to 12. 38 seconds left in the first half. Fourth and goal from the one and a half yard line. Foles, lines up for the shotgun Snap comes back to the back. It's a quick little toss to the flanker I rarely use the binoculars on a pass play, but there you throw them up
Wide Open. Touchdown Eagles. They pulled it off. 13 00:00:55:000 00:00:56,450 When you have a view like that,
I could only hope that I got it right, which fortunately I did. Eagles had pulled off one of the most unusual and game-changing plays in super bowl history. And I've got to admit, it took me completely by surprise.
