Hi, I'm Larry Foles' dad.
I was at Superbowl 52 in the corner of the end zone watching the game live, but I don't remember watching the Philly special. I didn't see it.
It was all a blur to me. That's I guess how hyped up I was. I'm a nervous wreck. There's no doubt about it. And I really didn't realize it until two o'clock in the morning when he arrived at the hotel and told us what happened. And I said, no, you didn't. And sure enough, he did. And then I went and watched it and I went, "Wow, this is pretty incredible." I'm sure I was watching the game and enjoying it. It's just still hard to believe that it happened. I think because of who Nick was-- a backup-- playing the goat, and for Nick to have the insight to go over and request that play... he had confidence. "I'm going to catch this ball. Let's run it. Let's score here at 4th and 1."
It was probably one of the most remarkable days of our lives to see Nick play in a Super Bowl-- and play at that level-- against the greatest ever. It's probably the greatest play in the history of the Super Bowl.
