Amazon's 2022 Holiday ad is a heart-warming story celebrating the inventive spirit of a loving father who is inspired to create a very special and thoughtful experience for his young daughter, proving joy is something we make.
A teen daughter is infatuated with a snow globe, and the dad is a little frustrated with it. She's got it in the car, in the garage, at the dentist, at the dinner table - everywhere. He realizes on night that it's her attachment to her mother (who is apparently no longer around). So the dad goes to the neighbors to borrow things for a project. Shrubs, fans, and lots of scrap paper. Then he orders a paper shredder from Amazon and starts on all the paper. When he's finally done, he takes his daughter out to the greenhouse with the snowglobe. Inside, he's got lights, the strubs, and the fans blowing around all the shredded paper like a life-sized snow globe.
