Plot / Description

"Roommate - Easier Way to Save"
This commercial shows a couple who is having money trouble. To help out with the bills, they got a roommate who happens to enjoy musicals. We see the roommate standing on a coffee table dancing in an old-style military outfit and singing the "Modern Major General" song from the comedic opera, The Pirates of Penzance. The song is very difficult to memorize, and he doesn't quite remember it yet, so it becomes a bit awkward. The idea is that Geico offers an easier way to save money than getting an annoying roommate.
