Plot / Description

This commercial features the E*Trade baby in his crib. He is in a "time out" because he got in trouble for riding the dog. He refers to his time-out as "Solitary" (i.e., solitary confinement). Luckily he has an iPad hidden in the crib that he can use to access his E-Trade account. Unfortunately his mom comes in and takes the tablet, but he's also got a smartphone with an ETrade app that he pulls out when she leaves. He starts singing an old spiritual at the end of the ad.

I'm in a time-out because apparently riding the dog like it's a small horse is frowned upon in this esablishment. Luckily though, you know, I concealed this bad boy underneith my blanket just so I can get on E-Trade - check my investment portfolio, research stocks, and set conditional orders.
Wait, why are you taking... oh, I see, solitary. A man and his thoughts... and a smartphone, with an ETrade app.
Nobody knows (the trouble I've seen)
