The commercial begins with a lawnmower, cutting the green grass. The scent of freshly cut grass wafts through the air, sweeping into the open bedroom window where a man is in bed sleeping. As the green scent of fresh grass reaches the man in bed, he is lifted out of the bed, floating out the bedroom window where he gets started working on his own lawn. Next door is a woman, floating through the air, holding a garden hose, ready to do yardwork of her own. A couple is decorating their home for Christmas. The man reaches down to plug in the Christmas tree lights, and as the tree in the living room of the house lights up, a bright light is seen outside the house. As the couple goes out to their snowy front yard, a group of people are rolling a giant ball of colored Christmas lights down the sidewalk, leaving a trail of lights behind them. The giant ball of Christmas lights continues to be rolled across America, passing through a beach with a brightly lit up Ferris Wheel in the background next to the pier. The lights continue the journey, crossing a desert where a cactus plant is decorated with colored lights, before continuing on to New York City under the Brooklyn Bridge. A man is wrapped up in Christmas lights when he gives the string of lights a tug to untangle it. When he pulls the string, it comes unplugged from the house where the commercial started, causing the lights to briefly go out. The man in the house, yanks the cord, which causes the couple in New York City to be pulled together and share an embrace as the man back in the home plugs the cord back in and all the lights once again shine brightly. The commercial ends with a view of the United States completely lit up with colored Christmas lights.
