Description
"Don't Wake Up in a Roadside Ditch" This commercial shows a man having trouble with his cable, so he is on the phone with customer support. He is just waiting, and waiting on hold and gets upset. Because he is upset, he goes to "blow off steam" by playing racquetball with a friend. He's a little too aggressive in the game, and when he hits the ball it bounces back and hits him in the eye. He ends up going to the emergency room, and the ER doctor makes him wear an eye patch. He has to ride the bus home from the hospital (still carrying his racket and wearing his eyepatch), and some rough looking guys on the bus think he's a tough guy because of the patch and end up chasing him down to prove that they are tougher. Next thing we see, the guy is waking up in a road-side ditch... all because he had cable. The moral of the story is to switch to DirecTV so you don't get beat up and thrown into a ditch.
