This commercial begins with a black screen, and then a rectangle outline of light comes on in the center. We are taken to a room with a single table/pedestal in it with a blowing pile of "sand". A laptop computer rises up out of the table, and we soon see that the "sand" is actually small magnetic balls of metal. The shots move back and forth from the features of the computer tablet to the weird movements of the magnets. We see that the keyboard is removable and snaps into place (with magnets?) and is ultra-thin. The keyboard acts as the cover to the tablet when you aren't using it, and comes in a variety of colors. Next they show the laptop rising up on it's side and we see that it has a built-in "kickstand" to allow it to stand up on it's own while you are typing or watching videos on it using Windows 8. "Braylon O'Neill: Making Strides" Five year old Braylon O'Neill was born missing the tibia and fibula bones in both of his legs. Now, he's making strides, pushing limits, and playing sports because of Microsoft technology. December 22, 2008 Braylon was born. He entered the world with his arms up, and we all shouted "touchdown", and I really think in that moment a strong spirit entered the world. It was also that moment we discovered that he was missing the tibia and fibula bones in both of his legs. You know ever parent can't wait to see, you know, what their child is going to be like. For us it was a little bit different because he was born with a physical difference. As shocking as that was, it was a sense of peace when we looked at him we knew that is going to be able to do this. so when Bray was 11 months old he was fitted for his first pair of prosthesis. The prosthetics allow him to engage and play in ways very similar to that of his friends. I think I have a kid who is extremely determined. If he has a challenge, he finds a way to conquer that. I think he's taught myself and my husband a lot about that. But I think he's a kid who thinks he can do whatever he wants to do, and who loves so many parts of life. (Lyrics) Time to have some fun When I first met Braylon he was one year old. Once we found out who he really was, we found out that it didn't matter what we did, he was gonna make it work. Our objective is to keep him with the most modern technology, and to help him strive forward with his prosthesis. We's use Microsoft technology to analyze Braydon's gate mechanics. We're able to slow down his movements and watch them or track where his joins are in space to make any suggestions we may have for his prosthetic alignment or where he may need more strength. We were introduced to Travis when we were in San Diego. We brought him out to our triathalon event called the San Diego Triathalon Challenge. At that event Bray participated in his first kid's race, and he got a medal. Braylon put's himself out there with no regard to his legs at all. That's not the most important thing to him. It's living his life, and you can tell. I honestly can't imagine a world in which this technology does not exist for my child. He wouldn't be able to have all the opportunities that he does have. I think the technology has changed Braylon's life by opening up the world for him, and really making it the limitless world which is what every parent aspires for their child.
