Plot / Description

"Time Travels - 1997 Football"
This commercial features NBA star Blake Griffin driving in his Kia Optima. He tells the onboard computer (UVO) to take him back to 1997 and play an appropriate playlist for the time. His car then travels through time back to when Blake was a kid. He enters the past in a park where young Griffin and his friend are playing football. He catches the ball and tells his past self, that this is the wrong sport (obviously he should be playing basketball) as he punts the ball away. He also tells him to stop wearing cutoff jean shorts. Trust me...

Voiceover / Dialog / Script / Spoken Word

Take me back to 1997. Uvo, play jukebox.
Wrong sport.
Who are you?
I'm you, from the future, and that's my Kia Optima. It's full of futuristic things like heated and air-cooled front seats. Stop wearing jean shorts. Just trust me.
