Description

This ad for Target begins with a red maple leaf floating down from the sky, landing on a motorcycle complete with a sidecar. The motorcycle is driven by a woman, and the Target Bull Terrier is riding in the side car. The woman and the dog, with his bullseye spot over his eye, and wearing a stylish brown leather bomber jacket, drive through the neighborhood. They see a picnic party on a front lawn. They pass a woman walking several dogs on the city street. They see furniture being moved into a brownstone. They pass scenic areas, where a Canadian flag is flapping in the wind next on a rocky beach. Kids running along the beach, flying colorful kites in the wind. They pass an area along the side of the road, rich with beautiful totem poles. A group of kids getting ready to play a game of ice hockey. A group of kids having a snowball fight, with trees decorated in white lights shine behind them. A black and white movie is shown outside of a red and white house. The movie is being projected onto a hillside, used as a movie screen. At a large outdoor ice skating rink, a small boy pauses and smiles as the woman and her dog drive past on the motorcycle. The next day, the motorcycle returns to the house, and the Target dog gets out, climbs up the stairs and enters the house through his red doggie door.

"Can't Wait to Meet you Neighbour"

Voiceover, Dialog, Spoken Text, Script, or Lyrics

(Lyrics) It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood
A beautiful day for a neighbor
Would you, oh would you be mine?
It's a neighborly day in the beautywood
A neighborly day for a beauty
Would you, oh would you be mine?
I always wanted to have a neighbor that's just like you
Wanted to live in a neighborhood with you
I always wanted to have a neighbor that's just like you
Wanted to live in a neighborhood with you
So let's make the most of this beautiful day
If we're together we might as well say
Would you, would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Oh won't you be my neighbor?
Oh won't you please, won't you please
Please won't you be my neighbor?
Please won't you be my neighbor?
