At Popisms.com, we show you how pop culture (TV, movies, books, ads) is connected to other pop culture. For example, what song is in that Olympics commercial
or TV episode? What book is that character reading? What music is another song sampling? We answer these questions and many more
PlayStation Commercial for PlayStation 4 (PS4) (2013)
- - Get the Song: Blackheart by Two Steps from Hell
- - Get the App: PlayStation 4 (PS4)
Plot / Description
This commercial is a preview of the PlayStation 4. We first get a glimpse of the new controller and new motion detecting device followed by a test of the CPU. We see millions of individual balls sift into a city with smooth and flowing graphics. We then see the realism of people and scenery. One of the games shown features a small robot-like guy built out of randomly shaped pieces. We see characters dancing based on humans holding controllers. We see racing cars, fire breathing dragons, teleporting heroes, huge city landscapes, monsters and mythical beasts, and much more on the new video game system.
What we're trying to create are things that people have never experienced. Magical moments that they're going to remember for the test of their lives.
