Plot / Description
"Xperia Z TV Ad - Sound, vision, colour, detail from Sony. Featuring music from David Bowie"
This advert begins with a timeline of some of Sony's greatest inventions. It starts with a group of people standing outside of a TV store in the late 1960's watching one of NASA's rockets take off on a Sony television. Next a police officer watches some beautiful blonde girls roller skate on a West coast beach with their Sony Walkman cassette tape players. Years later we see a man using a Sony handheld camcorder to videotape people hitting the Berlin wall with sledgehammers. Jump forward some more and we see a group of guys playing the Sony PlayStation. After this we jump to the present day where a couple is on vacation in India during a ceremony/festival where people throw colored powder around. Everyone is covered in blue and red paint/powder and the couple gets out to take pictures with their new Song Xperia Z smartphone. At the end, the phone is covered in red and blue and the couple just pours water over it to clean it without any harm to the device.
Sony has always bought you new experiences, and now you can enjoy the best of Sony with a smartphone. The new Xperia Zed. Be moved.
Do do do dodo do
Blue, blue, electric blue
That's the colour of my room
Where I will live
Pale blinds drawn all day
Nothing to do, nothing to say
I will sit right down, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
And I will sing, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
Drifting into my solitude, over my head
Sony Xperia Z
