Plot / Description

This commercial begins with a close up on a man's face. The man, a manly man with a sweet mustache, is enjoying a hair wash at a salon. As the camera moves out, it is seen that he is the only man in a salon full of women, there for their beauty routines. The man puts on his glasses, noticing a woman watching him from the other side of the salon, through a mirror. He nods at the woman before taking his glasses back off, and revealing a glass of Southern Comfort in his hand. The man leans back again, crosses his leg over his knee (showing his snakeskin boots) and resumes enjoying his hair wash.

Voiceover / Dialog / Script / Spoken Word

(Lyrics) In the beginning was the beat
And the beat was strong
It was kicked around, stuck in the ground
Pulled back up, stuck in a ? and down
Tuxedo, bow tie
But it was still funky
And it went on and on and on and on and on
It goes on and on
It goes on and on
It goes on and on
It goes on and on
Now I'm not on the same ways ?
But I gotta tell you what it was
You know the beat was here long before Noah
So it must have survived the flood
Hmmmm, hmmmmm
