"AXE PEACE | Make Love, Not War (:60)" This Super Bowl ad begins with a Middle East world leader walking down a hallway with several men, one of whom is carrying a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist. The case appears to be a device for detonating a bomb. When he presses the big red button, fireworks go off in the background in honor of his wife. We switch to a war-torn city with a tank driving down the street. The tank drives up, points its turret at a woman, and then stops. The hatch opens and a the husband/boyfriend of the woman pops out, and they hug in a happy reunion. Next we see an image of an Asian leader (probably mimicing North Korea) looking over a crowd of people as the country shows off their soldiers and missiles. The leader makes a symbol and the crowd holds up cards showing a heart with him and his girlfriend/wife inside it. They smile and hold hands. After this we see a group of American soldiers flying in on helicopters in Vietnam. The helicopters land and one of the soldiers runs up to a woman and they start to kiss. Make love, not war. This commercial for Axe Anarchy for Him and Her shows the mayhem that occurs when people wear the new scent. Men and women can't resist each other and cause all kinds of accidents just to get together. The ad begins with a man and woman sitting on a rooftop cafe. They each smell something and look at each other. They move to sit together, and the man knocks a potted plant off the roof. It falls and smashes below where a girl walks right past it toward a waiter who drops his plate to get to the girl. A man riding a motorcycle down the street sees/smells the same girl and jumps off the bike while it's still moving so he can go smell her up close. The motorcycle keeps riding down the road and smashes through the plate glass window of a pet store. As all the pets escape out into the road, the store owner comes out and sees a nurse pushing an old man in a wheelchair. She let's the old man go and he roles out into traffic causing a pile up car crash. One of the cars drives onto the sidewalk and smashes into a sculpture of a giant head which rolls away almost killing people as it roles down some stairs. People in smashed up cars are attracted to each other through their broken car windows. A bus involved in the accident, and is full of cheerleaders, slides on its side smashing up more cars. Several fires start and a clown runs down the road screaming while on fire. Meanwhile the cheerleaders get out of the bus and meet up with a bunch of guys while the city burns behind them. Several miles away, a painter is working on the city skyline while helicopters fly in to help with all the chaos... all because guys and girls can't resist each other when they are wearing Axe Anarchy. "Hot Putt" This commercial shows a beautiful brunette athlete getting ready to throw a shot put. She is focusing on her objective as the camera focuses more on her body. The metal ball flies through the air and smashes through the window of a guy who is spraying on an Axe body spray product. He and his cat have to quickly move out of the way to avoid getting hit. The girl then grabs a pole and pole vaults through the window, tackles the man, throws his pants out the window, and has her way with him. The Axe Effect

Suddenly the ice around him starts to crack and he is separated from the girl. Later in history in Pompeii, the man looks at a beautiful store keeper selling fruit on the street. He starts walking over to her when Mount Vesuvius erupts and he is separated from her again. Again, later in history he sees her in a king's/emperor's court and start to go to her when everyone is forced to bow to the ruler. He waits to see her, but the king chooses her as his own. In the old West in a saloon, but a bar fight breaks out and he is knocked out by a chair before he can meet her. He keeps missing her on the Titanic, in Victorian England, in the World War, and finally in the 1960's war protests. In the present times, the man is in a convenience store picking out an Axe body spray. He sprays it on right in the store, and the girl he's been chasing for millennia just walks right up to him because she was attracted to his scent. As they walk away from the gas station, a tanker truck crashes into it causing it to explode, but they have finally gotten together...
