This Target commercial for Back-to-School features a second grade teacher, telling parents what their kids will have to look forward to in the school year. She enthusiastically explains that the kids will be taking care of the class hamsters, "Lewis" and "Clark". She tells parents that she will tell the kids the story of the planet Pluto, as she goes to a hanging model of the solar system, where she takes a pair of scissors and snips the string that holds up Pluto. She then goes on to give a list of school supplies the kids will need for the upcoming school year. Hi parents! It's gonna be such a big school year. Your kids will each take care of our class hamsters, Lewis and Clark, then I'll tell them the story of Pluto, sad little planet that was. I'll introduce them to some new friends, the fractions, and some cold-blooded ones, the dinosaurs. Clark! Anyway, here's what they'll need: markers, scissors, crayons, pencils, folders, juice boxes, pretzel sticks, glue sticks, tape that sticks and glitter. So much glitter. School takes a lot.
