"GoldieBlox - Intuit 2014 Super Bowl Commercials Contestant" 
This ad was created as the GoldieBlox entry for the 2014 Intuit Small Business Big Game contest. In addition to the founder's story, we see little girls nailing ballerina slippers to a skateboard, putting on war paint, and doing other non-traditional things.

Hi, I'm Debbie. I'm an engineer and I'm the founder of GoldieBlox. We make construction toys for girls. We all know girls love princesses. Take a walk down the pink aisle at any toy store and you can begin to see why. But the think is, we don't have a national shortage of princesses, but we do have a national shortage of engineers. Only 11% of engineers in the US are women, and this is a problem. Construction toys get kids interested in math and science and help develop spacial skills. But it's been a boys club for the past hundred years. GoldieBlox is here to change that. 
 
The toy industry told me it was never going to work. They told me it was niche - a cute idea that would never go mainstream. I made a prototype that combined reading - which girls love - and building which develops spacial skills. I put it up on KickStarter, and with your help we proved them wrong. And while this is a huge accomplishment, it also presents a huge challenge. Convention says GoldieBlox can't compete against the big boys. But what they don't know is that even though we're small, we're mighty. We're engineers. We built the world, and we're ready for a change. We're smart, we're strong, and we're more than just a princess. It's game time.
