Plot / Description

This ad was a semi-finalist in the 2014 Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest.
The advertisement begins from the point of view of an old man. His grand-daughter waves goodbye to him with an armful of Doritos, and he's left in his apartment with a bowl of slop to eat. He looks through a pair of binoculars to see his granddaughter and her friends having fun and eating the Doritos. He decides to go up on the roof, tie himself to a tree and try to swing across to grab the chips that are next to the window. He almost gets them several times, but needs just a little extra push. He decides to tape some fire extinguisher to his back to sets them off just before he jumps. Instead of getting a little extra push, he flies straight the the window and crashes onto the girl's couch.
