"Raining Octopuses - GE" As the world's premiere Digital Industrial company, we pride ourselves on being ready for whatever the world throws at us. Even if that whatever has tentacles. GE works on things that matter. The best people and the best technologies taking on the toughest challenges. Finding solutions in energy, health and home, transportation and finance. Building, powering, moving and curing the world. Not just imagining. Doing. GE works. This 2016 Olympics ad shows a storm brewing, but then instead of raining cats and dogs, it starts raining octopuses (or octopi if you like). They just fall from the sky, and people need to take cover. One boy on the playground picks one up and looks at it curiously while somewhere else, they come down during an outdoor wedding. They get in the way of a commercial flight and come up in the weather forecast. At the end, the weather gets a little worse when a giant crocodile crashes through the window of a hospital. 794, you are ahead of schedule. Folks, we've hit some interesting weather here. It shouldn't interrupt our beverage service. I've heard of it raining cats and dogs before, but this is getting ridiculous. Be sure to pack those umbrellas and take care out there. This is the weather event we've been waiting for! Whatever the world throws at us, we'll be helping planes, trains, power grids, and hospitals run smoothly.
