"Answering the Call: Cedricka Carver and Lieutenant Jack Ray" Hello?
Hi. My name is Cedricka. About four years ago a fire broke out in my apartment building. Do you remember that, in Quincy?
I do remember the fire. I gotta tell you, you kind of caught me off guard here.
Because of you, I was able to graduate with my Master's degree and I am currently working for my Doctorate degree.
Oh my God, that is so amazing. I am so glad to hear that.
For a quick second during the fire, I honestly thought, like, OK, I'm not getting out of this.
Yeah.
At the time, I was pregnant.
Pregnant?
Yes. She's four now.
What's her name?
Mia.
Oh, that's a beautiful name. Every day I see a four-year old now, I'm gonna think back to that day and I'm gonna think of you and your daughter.
Thank you. Two rescued in apartment building fire
