Chapter Seven

Five years ago, Jane describes her meeting with Rafael to Xo, who warns her that he might a playboy. After sharing a kiss, Rafael tries to pursue a relationship with Jane. Xiomara warns Jane about the implications of this, saying that there are far too many consequences and that Jane is too smart for it, Jane decides to tell Rafael that she needs more time to think about their relationship. Meanwhile, Michael has made progress about his investigations about a criminal referred to as Sin Rostro. After deciding that it is best for them to not pursue a relationship, Xiomara and Rogelio find dates of their own and go on a double date. Rafael then goes to Mexico City to look for his sister, who has gone missing, in order to save his hotel.
