Liz Lemon is head writer for The Girlie Show, a live comedy show filmed in New York City's 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Things start to get complicated when her new boss, Jack Donaghy, insists that wild movie star Tracy Jordan join the cast.

Jim and Cheryl are the perfect middle class American couple. Happily married, living in a suburban house with two adorable (but loud) little girls and a baby boy, they really can't complain much about life - except for those couple fights that neither one can ever let go, like the time Jim shut the car door on Cheryl. This time the problem is their daughter, whom Cheryl can't leave alone on her first week at kindergarten. Jim says it's because she's a woman and decides to take Ruby himself, but he also can't leave her behind. Things heat up when Cheryl discovers that not only has he been hiding it from her, but he also changed Ruby's school without talking to her. Meanwhile, Jim and Cheryl try to help Andy make up with his girlfriend.

In the series premiere of "Awkward.", Jenna Hamilton finds out that getting the boy of her dreams isn't all it's cracked up to be. When a mysterious letter leads to a misunderstanding of epic proportions, Jenna realizes that her new stigma might be her ticket to social visibility.

Meredith, a former trophy wife, poses as a teacher at an upscale school in hope of meeting the students' wealthy, single fathers; a faculty member becomes suspicious.

Polygamist Bill Henrickson tries to satisfy the emotional, romantic and financial needs of his three wives - Barb, Nicki and Margene - and seven children in suburban Salt Lake City. Bill, a successful businessman launching his second "Home Plus" hardware superstore, hits a roadblock in the person of Roman Grant, the powerful patriarch of the Juniper Creek polygamist commune and father of Nicki, Bill's shopaholic second wife. Also his estranged brother, Joey, a retired football star, calls Bill saying that their father, Franklin is ill at the house of their mother, Lois, Franklin's second wife.

Tightly-wound captain Ray Holt takes over Brooklyn's 99th precinct, which includes Jake Peralta, a talented but carefree detective who's used to doing whatever he wants.

Michael Westen, a covert-operations agent working for the U.S. Government, is on an assignment in Nigeria when he suddenly and unexpectedly gets "burned". After barely escaping with his life on the first flight he can get out of the country, he wakes up in his hometown of Miami, Florida, under government surveillance. There, he also reconnects with significant people from his past: his gun-happy ex-girlfriend Fiona; his beer-loving, womanizing best friend, ex-Navy SEAL Sam Axe; even his very lonely, chain-smoking mother Madeline. In order to make ends meet and track down leads on who burned him and why, Michael uses his skills helping people in significant trouble, beginning with an estate caretaker who has been framed by his boss (Guest Star: Ray Wise) for a high-priced art theft. Finally, Michael hears back from his old handler why he was burned and that he can't leave Miami without putting his life in danger, a reality proven when he returns home to find pictures of himself scattered about with a message: "Welcome to Miami," the show's tagline.

We meet 40ish year old Hank Moody in a church asking Jesus to help him get his life back on track. He is then distracted by a hot nun, which turns out to be a dream that is representative of his lifestyle. Sex-addicted Hank sleeps with many women including a woman who is cheating on her enraged and muscular husband and Mia, a 16-year-old girl (Hank assumes she is older). Moody also has to interact with ex-girlfriend Karen who might still love him. With her, they share the custody of their 12-year-old daughter Becca who is wise beyond her years but is starting to have a sex life, which freaks out both of her parents.

A fire claims the life of a team member in the premiere of this drama series following the firefighters, paramedics and rescue squad of Chicago Firehouse 51. Following the tragedy, Lt. Matthew Casey and Lt. Kelly Severide point fingers at one another. Casey also deals with personal dramas surrounding his separation from his fiancee, Hallie.

Police detectives Travis Marks and Wes Mitchell are sent by their captain to a therapist to settle their differences in couple's counseling. Meanwhile, they investigate the murder of the son of a federal judge.

Jules is a woman in her forties who's five months out of her marriage and being pressured by her best friends into getting "back out there" and finding the dating scene not her style. But with a teenage son who would be happier if she were to hide out in the house, she gets the business from him when she feels like she's "allowed to have a life." Now in her forties, she finds herself as a divorcee and eager to live the dating scene that she missed. Laurie, her younger co-worker, wants to show Jules how to go out there and have fun. Ellie, her sarcastic, married and content to her average but lovable husband Andy. There's also her family, her ex-husband Bobby and her son Travis, who will test her patience, and her new fortysomething divorced neighbor Gray, who doesn't believe that Jules can date again.
