The Arrangement

The Arrangement is a 1969 film drama film directed by Elia Kazan, based upon his 1967 novel of the same title. It tells the story of a successful Los Angeles-area advertising executive of Greek-American extraction, Evangelos Arness, who goes by the professional name "Eddie Anderson." He is portrayed by Kirk Douglas.

A young actress, Megan Morrison (Christine Evangelista), auditions to play the female lead in a high profile film opposite action star Kyle West (Josh Henderson). But her Cinderella story takes an unexpected turn when she meets Terrence Anderson (Michael Vartan), the leader of the self-help organization the Institute of the Higher Mind, and is then presented with a contract that will change her life.

Don crosses paths with his father-in-law, Peggy searches for a new roommate, and a new client with money to throw around is very excited about doing business with the firm, though Don wants to make sure it will avoid a conflict with a friend of Cooper's. Betty and Don receive bad news about Betty's father. A news report places the episode on or around June 11, 1963.
