When Dwight is introduced to accept his salesman of the year award, Michael steps to the microphone to stall for a nervous Dwight, and says "Gooood morning, Vietnaaaam!"

Michael is still stalling for Dwight to come to the stage to accept his salesman of the year award. He says "And now the black guy from the 'Police Academy' movies. A robot. [he then makes robot sounds] Michael Winslow, anyone?"

Jim asks Dwight where he would go if he could travel anywhere in the world. Dwight responds with " I can travel anywhere except Cuba. And I will travel to New Zealand. And walk the 'Lord of the Rings' trail to Mordor.". Later in the episode, after learning that Pam has set a wedding date, Jim decides he needs a vacation, and books a trip to Australia. Pam asks if he's really going, and Jim replies "I'm going. I'm a little nervous to run into Dwight on his connecting flight to Mordor. But, other than that... um, yeah, I bought the ticket, non-refundable."
