The gang get together to mark the first anniversary of Alex and Dave’s non-wedding. Penny buys and moves into a new apartment that she believes is cursed. At her new place, she throws a roaring 20s party.

Jules is determined to prove to Grayson that women and men can be friends without any sexual undertones. Meanwhile, with Jules' encouragement, Andy buys a motorcycle from Laurie - to Ellie's dismay - and Travis joins Bobby on a man-trip for some "noodling," only to be mortified by his discovery of what noodling actually is.

Daya goes into labor. Sophia suffers a hate crime. Stella helps Piper with a business snag. Taystee takes on a new role.

A small earthquake helps Mitchell and Cameron get out of a party with Pepper, scares Manny while out with Jay. Also Mitchell's ex-girlfriend comes to town and Claire gets trapped in the bathroom with a plumber

Mitchell plants the seed in Jay's head that he thinks one of Jay's old buddies, Shorty, might be secretly gay. Jay doesn't believe it for a second... except for all the questionable signs he now keeps noticing. Meanwhile Gloria gives Manny's date a makeover and Claire faces off with Phil's universal remote.

Ari shows interest in Eric's indie script, imagining it as a big studio production with Vince as the lead, but the novice writers, believing they now have a bidding war on their hands, up their price. Determined to postpone his post-breakup depression, Drama gets pumped for his guest appearance on The View (with Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck playing themselves). Drama, set up by his Five Towns co-stars, who have supplied the show with photos of Jacqueline, embarrasses himself, much to the frustration of publicist Shauna.

J.D. gets called in to work on his day off, but the only thing he wants to do is get home. Meanwhile Elliot tries to convince everyone she is an expert on endocrinology following her brief fellowship, Carla has doubts over being a parent, and Turk has to wrestle over an issue that will either help his career or break his conscience.

Lily and Marshall contemplate having a baby, so Lily turns to Ted and Robin and gets completely different advice on the issue. After Lily becomes extremely drunk and interferes at Marshall's workplace, they decide to put off having a baby. Robin becomes Ted's new roommate. Barney has a pregnancy scare and when it's disproved, he creates a new holiday: Not a Father's Day.

Gloria and Jay try to make Manny's 14th birthday extra special by planning a surprise party; Haley starts hanging out with a much older guy and Gloria gives birth.

Ari squares off against Alan Gray in a golf game in an attempt to get a role for Vince, only to have Alan continue to be his usual angry and vindictive self. After causing a televised car chase, Dom asks Vince to bail him out, but only Eric - who still doesn't trust Dom - can afford it. Desperate for a job, Turtle agrees to be Drama's personal assistant.

Peter and Carter go to Africa to get their money back after they are swindled in an e-mail scam. Meanwhile, Brian pursues Meg's friend, Patty.

A manhunt is called for Ty Walker who asks for an extraction; Sean is set to go but Avery burns Ty and buys his loyalty with a stack of cash, telling him to lie low. Ty cleans his wounds in a washroom, digging out a bullet that caught on the inside of his vest. He pays a pair of frat boys on their way to Orlando to deliver the vest to 1212 Main Street for him, and apparently sends out his credit cards as other decoys. His car breaks down and he calls an ambulance with a plan to rob their medical supplies but is recognized and kills both paramedics when one tries to sedate him. Raylan is called away from the manhunt for an appointment with Winona, holds his daughter for the first time, learns she has a heart murmur, and has to figure out custody. To give Winona some relief he takes the crying infant for a drive - in to the office. Winona says she wants Raylan back in her life, at her side raising their daughter. Boyd takes Ava up to his father's hunting cabin in Bulletville where he retrieves and opens a rare bottle he'd been saving for his wedding night. He talks about writing their vows, about commitment, trust and loyalty. Boyd has her out before dawn to hunt, talking about killing and betrayal, then leaves her unarmed as he kills a boar. After eating the fresh kill, Boyd confronts Ava about her informing to Raylan. She admits to selling him out but he is more concerned she may be sleeping with Raylan, which she denies. Boyd apologizes, saying he'd let her down when she was in prison, and that if they trust each other they can have Raylan going in circles while Boyd gets enough money for them to start over again. Avery is at the Marshals for questioning when Art casually steps in and asks him about the old days, about Grady's indictment and his affair with Katherine and attorney general Simon Poole who was shot dead about the same time - Poole would have been the only one who knew the identity of the snitch against Grady.

Raylan and Rachel are surveying Raylan's tossed apartment. Meanwhile, Lindsay and Randall go to visit sleazy fight promoter Joe Hoppus, who after a tense exchange agrees to set Randall up as a manager of fighters. Raylan and Rachel show up at Hoppus's house the next morning, finding a wrecked backyard full of hungover partygoers and Hoppus in a three-way with a couple of prostitutes. Hoppus imparts that Randall was looking to get into the business of fighting chickens, and gives Raylan the name of the farmer that he was headed to see. Randall and Lindsey stop for gas, and Randall steals a bottle of beer while Lindsey distracts the cashier. Randall gets angry because he thinks the cashier was flirting with Lindsay, and goes back to beat him up. Lindsay, disgusted, calls Raylan from a pay phone. Raylan later questions the badly beaten cashier. Raylan learns where Lindsay and Randall are headed and finds them on a horse farm farther north. He shoots Randall with a non-lethal beanbag gun and questions Lindsay, forgetting about Randall, who regains his wits and attacks. Raylan and Randall fight until Lindsay gets the beanbag gun; she shoots Raylan, then Randall, and knocks Randall out with the butt of the gun. Raylan comes to his senses to find Lindsay gone. Raylan detains Randall, but learns that he and Lindsay had already spent Raylan's money on a van full of fighting chickens. Meanwhile, Boyd and Ava grapple over what to do with Ellen May when she returns to the bar after Preacher Billy's death. Knowing that Ellen May holds secrets that can burn them down, Ava presses Boyd to have her killed. Boyd proposes an alternate solution: send her down to Alabama, where his cousin Lonnie runs a motel and bar. Ellen May can work for Lonnie and have a shot at a decent life. However, when Ellen May inadvertently mentions Ava's murder of Delroy in a crowded hallway, with several people nearby, Boyd orders Colt to kill her. Colt, acting as though he is taking Ellen May to the bus station, stops at a gas station to check his .45 and snort some heroin in the restroom. When he goes back outside, he discovers Ellen May has disappeared.

Red and Blanca send text messages from Humphries' phone to Piscatella, claiming the inmates are not armed and encouraging him to break into the prison via a window at night. He takes the information to the CERT, who blow him off. Aleida does a live TV interview with Meredith Vieira and Judy King, who breaks the news about Humphries being shot. She doesn't remember the shooter's name but describes Daya, leaving Aleida in shock. The news reaches Piscatella, who is mocked by the CERT members. Figueroa returns to the prison, this time as a negotiator for MCC. She claims they can't afford to meet the inmates' demands, but Taystee - who has done her research via the Internet and Caputo's files - shuts her down. Once she receives a phone call about Humphries, however, she says amnesty for everybody is off the table. After a discussion with Piper and others, Taystee agrees to hand over Daya, who first calls Pornstache's mother to ask her to adopt her daughter out of foster care and asks her to give her daughter some space due to Aleida's control she received when she was younger. Gloria's son is in the ICU after being severely beaten. Piscatella, after texting "Humphries" that he was going to stand down, enters the prison after dark instead. Flashback: A 14-year-old Daya (played by Dasany Kristal Gonzalez, actress Dascha Polanco's own daughter) pursues a boy based on her mother's insistence, despite her best friend's feelings for him. Daya ends up rejected by the boy and dumped by her friend.

When Rallo and his pals Bernard and Theodore perform in the school talent show, their rap about fiscal responsibility is not well-received by their classmates. Meanwhile, after Cleveland gets his own cable-access television show, the reviews are less than positive so he takes some tips from the most successful daytime talk shows that appeal to women.
