The Facts of Life

This sitcom starred Gary Coleman as Arnold Jackson and Todd Bridges as his older brother, Willis. They played two black children from a poor Harlem neighborhood whose deceased mother previously worked for a rich white widower, Philip Drummond (Conrad Bain), who eventually adopted them. They lived in a penthouse with Mr. Drummond, Mr. Drummond's daughter Kimberly (Dana Plato), and their maid.

After Peter injures the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory's new employee Guillermo during softball practice, he is forced by Mr. Weed to find a replacement for the upcoming softball game. Meanwhile, Lois meets the Griffin family's new neighbors, the Swansons. Peter is initially annoyed by Joe Swanson and has no interest in becoming his friend, but convinces Joe to play for the softball team once Lois mentions that he played baseball in college. Next morning at the game, Peter is surprised to learn that Joe is wheelchair-bound. Joe's experience helps the team win. Peter becomes jealous of Joe and tries to become a hero by stopping a robbery; he ends up as a hostage until Joe convinces the robbers to surrender. Peter is disappointed, but his family tells him that he is their hero.

Mrs. Krabappel is fired for drinking alcohol on the job (thanks to kids in her class spiking her coffee as revenge for confiscating their cell phones and BlackBerrys) and replaced with a hip, young teacher named Zachary Vaughn.

There is a DVD sale, and Peter picks up Road House. After a conversation with Brian, Peter decides to take the lessons learned from the movie, and start kicking people to solve his problems. After getting in an accident due to steering his car by kicking the steering wheel, Peter rear-ends a pretty young girl. Brian ends up asking her our, but when he goes to pick her up, she is already out on a date with someone else. Instead, Brian ends up going out with her mom, Rita. They end up getting engaged, but everyone (eventually including Brian) thinks she is too old for him. They end up breaking up because Brian cheats on her with some random girl from a bar.

Vince and Ari must negotiate with both Warner Bros. and the director of Medellín in order to avoid scheduling conflicts with Aquaman 2. Turtle makes an appointment with Ari after rapper Saigon's single becomes a hit, much to the chagrin of Drama.

Annie's friend Cassie pretends to be a virgin to attract men; a guy loses his job and arrives home to find his fiancee using a bachelorette party gift; Judd sits next to Jennifer Love Hewitt on a plane.

Doug is excited for his annual Super Bowl party, and watching the game on his big 55 inch television. Until he gets a glimpse of a Hi Definition TV, and comes to the conclusion that he can't live without one of his own. He is unable to get his own, but he discovers that Carrie's boss has a Hi-Def TV, and he tries to befriend him in order to secure an invitation to watch the big game on the better TV.

With Jeremiah out of town, Marty is forced to bring his son Roscoe to his next job in San Francisco. Hoping to get some quality time with his dad, Roscoe ends up spending it all with the Pod instead, as Marty is forced to babysit Alex Katsnelson, the 20-year-old CEO of a security software company. Roscoe tells Doug he's being bullied at school, to which Doug (who himself had been bullied) answers that it's pure envy from the others. Marty and the Pod play up divisions between Alex and the board in order to manipulate Alex into hiring them. Meanwhile, Jeannie reacts to her recent engagement by having a tryst with Kurt, a tortured musician whom she meets in a coffee house. When she comes home, she tells her fiance Wes that they really should do the engagement party that she had previously not wanted to do, but that they should do it without people from work. Jeannie has not told her co-workers about her engagement, a fact which Wes does not know.

While teaching Chris about his Irish heritage, Peter discovers that he has a black ancestor. When this affects his social status and he finds out that his ancestor was a slave to Lois' family, Peter fights back. Meanwhile, Stewie tries to learn mind control from the school cheerleaders.

Jeff is excited to show off his pool skills in his new billiards class, only to have his will tested when shorts, not designer jeans, are the required uniform to play. Meanwhile, the gang focuses on helping Abed woo a potential mate by bringing out different sides of his personality.

Wilfred pursues a forbidden love.

After he and Adam make a agreement to not a let girl come between them, Barry betrays Adam and lets Erica and Lainey in the band, much to anger and dismay of Adam and leading him to quit. Barry attempts multiple times to win him back, but fails. He is later kicked out of his own band by being voted out of the band by Lainey and Erica, angering Barry and dismaying him and this causes him to lose his spark for Lainey, even though she was never interested in him in the first place. He tries once again getting Adam back and he succeeds. While doing so, they plan to thwart Erica and Lainey from playing and successfully do so and create a BATTLE OF THE BANDS. Adam and Barry lose when Erica and Lainey kick them out. Murray learns how much the vow renewal means to Beverly and wakes up everyone and plays a song thanks to the two bands reconcile and merge. Beverly and Murray finally renew their vows. Also, Lainey finally catches interest in Barry and Barry rejects her. Continuity Error: While Beverly is initially inspired to renew her vows following Prince Charles and Lady Di's impending nuptials, Adam is seen wearing a "This is Spinal Tap" tee, which did not premiere until 1984, 4 years after the Royal wedding.

Doug and Tillerman take Andy to the Hamptons to find new clients for Vehement to fleece. Andy poses as Bill Sussman (see 3x05), a wealthy man who made lots of money with Vehement. Nancy tags along to sell her drugs. Nancy rebrands her product as "Une Mere que j'aimerais baiser" (French for MILF), an overpriced, ultra-exclusive marijuana strain. After Doug and Tillerman discover that Clive or Bernard Madoff have already fleeced everyone at the party, Nancy offers to cut them into her action. Knowing the raid of Pouncy House is imminent, Nancy rejects merging with them. This infuriates Silas. He doesn't want to be Nancy's employee with Nancy making the decisions. Emma offers Silas a job, but he turns her down. Denny and Emma are arrested during the raid on Pouncy House. Det. Ouellette tells Shane, "When the hammer comes down -- and it always does -- you want to be on my side." Shane laughs him off behind his back. When Shane tells Silas that Nancy made the deal that leads to Emma's arrest, Silas takes a copy of the Botwin's sales database to start his own syndicate. Silas tells Nancy, "Consider me the competition. Everything is up for grabs."

After Peter catches Lois's dad, Carter, having an affair, he is strong-armed into keeping it a secret. But when Peter accidentally spills the beans, Lois's mom demands a divorce, and Peter is put in charge of Carter's return to bachelorhood
