The A-Team

Like the original series, the story follows the adventures of three United States soldiers who were arrested for a crime they did not commit. After managing to escape from military prison, the three join forces with Captain H.M. Murdock, their reconnaissance pilot, as a team of soldiers of fortune.

A listless and alienated teenager decides to help his new friend win the class presidency in their small western high school, while he must deal with his bizarre family life back home.

To replace a fancy figurine that he broke, Earl lends a hand to help Joy's former adversary and her daughter win a mother/daughter beauty pageant. Joy enters the pageant also with her "dead" mother trying to win that same figurine, hoping to trade it for a hot tub.

Shirley throws a Christmas party for the gang and much to her surprise learns her classmates come from a variety of backgrounds. Meanwhile, Jeff is challenged by the school bully and faces the reality that he may fail Spanish 101.

Jesse drives Mike and Gus to a clandestine medical clinic; prearranged by Gus, who is brought to a full recovery, but Mike must stay there for a week. Gus tells Jesse he can run the lab now, but Jesse tells him not to kill Walt. Ted refuses to take the money from Skyler; desperate, she calls Saul. Gus visits Hector again, telling him Don Eladio and his crew are all dead before showing him Jesse, who killed Hector's grandson and last relative Joaquin; Hector still refuses to look at Gus. Walt drives Hank to scope out the depot again but, en route, Hank tells him to go to an industrial laundry he's linked to Gus and Gale. Walt, panicking that he'll find the meth lab there, pulls into oncoming traffic, causing an accident and giving Hank whiplash. Saul's henchmen visit Ted and force him to write a check to the IRS but then Ted tries to flee, tripping over a rug and crashing headfirst into a counter. Walt realizes someone's been cooking in the lab, goes to Jesse's house, and begs him for help, saying Gus will kill him if Jesse replaces him. Jesse spurns Walt, and Gus's henchmen stun-gun him, driving him to the desert, where Gus tells Walt he's fired. Walt retorts that Gus can't kill him because Jesse won't let him. Gus says he'll now take care of Hank and, if Walt interferes, his family will die. Walt rushes to Saul and gets the number of a man who'll help him and his family "disappear"; he tells Saul to tip off the DEA about a hit on Hank. When Walt gets home and goes down into the crawl space, he finds there's not enough money for disappearing; Skyler tells a frenzied Walt that she gave it to Ted. Walt, in disbelief, starts laughing hysterically as Skyler, horrified, takes a call from Marie about sudden police-protection of Hank after there was a tip that the cartel's gunning for him.

On Election Night, Selina and her staff find their nerves growing frayed as each state result is called. Amy and Dan are on TV discussing the presidential race; Karen Collins returns. Tom James wants to be made Treasury Secretary. Jonah and Richard work at the Meyer-James Rally. Selina is about to concede as the election is tied.

Tommy plays hero in someone else's uniform, confusing the crew; Colleen finds a new reason to get upset with Tommy; Natalie asks Franco for a favor; a rift between Mike and Black Shawn nearly leads to blows; and the chief is not pleased with the move Tommy makes on his daughter.

Jack uses deciding which janitor gets the shift they want to avoid choosing between Avery and Nancy. Liz tries to be more fun when she learns she's been excluded from the staff's "Thursday Night Thunder" parties. Tracy gets Kenneth to help him be a better husband to Angie.

Jack must appear before Congress to discuss NBC's merger with KableTown. He hopes that he will charm celebrity members, but one Congresswoman demands more diversity in its programming lineup. Jack quickly enlists Tracy to come up with some new development ideas. Meanwhile, Liz is fed up with the criticism her writing staff gives her, and finally Jenna helps Kenneth reapply in the competitive page program.

When Stewie's new best friend falls ill, Lois takes him to the hospital where she finds out he has a critical, but treatable, disease. However, the boy's parents refuse treatment due to their religious beliefs, leaving Lois no choice but to take drastic measures to seek treatment for the boy herself. Meanwhile, Peter has a religious experience of his own.

When Hope shows signs of being a baby genius, the family pits themselves against one another to earn their GEDs. While, attempting to secure his G.E.D. Jimmy finds out that his old high school teacher Mr. Swift (Fred Willard), is teaching the class.

Maggie, a girl next door that Ted has wanted to date for years has suddenly broken up with her latest boyfriend, giving him and many other guys a chance to score with her.

Brian's ex-girlfriend Jillian is getting married. Brian starts dating The Hills star Lauren Conrad and media begins raving their relationship. Brian is starting to think they are the perfect match, but notices that he still has feelings for Jillian.

Barney's wedding gift to Jimmy and Sabrina is plane tickets for the family to fly to Los Angeles for a taping of Hope's favorite TV show, Yo Zappa Do! But Jimmy's fear of flying turns it into a road trip. The show's star, Trevor, turns out to be a former, albeit young, adversary of Jimmy's. Meanwhile, Ricardo (Wilmer Valderrama) is back as Burt's and Virginia's house guest, and he does all he can to make the living arrangement more permanent. To be continued...
