After being attacked by an octopus at the aquarium, Peter decides to become physically fit, and spends a mere fifteen minutes at the gym, then believing that he is now fit. Later, former U.S. President Bill Clinton's car breaks down outside their house, and Peter, thinking he is strong enough, attempts to lift the car without a jack, which results in him getting a sudden severe hernia and being hospitalized. Depressed at the concept of becoming old, he confides in Clinton, after he visits Peter in the hospital, who tells Peter that age is only a state of mind. When Peter recovers, Bill takes him out to help him realize he can still have fun, but things eventually get out of hand when they start smoking marijuana, then steal things and cause mischief while high

When Chris and Stewie are lost in the woods for several days, Lois is at her wits' end until she sees a psychic who assures her they are safe. Even after the boys return home, Lois and Peter's psychic obsession continues, and Peter takes it a step too far when he starts charging neighbors for his extrasensory perception. Meanwhile, Chris develops a crush on a girl with down syndrome at school.

To get back at Tessa for "stealing" Scott Strauss, Dalia invites Lisa to be part of her "in" group, which Lisa eagerly accepts. So Tessa tries to recruit Kimantha (Abbie Cobb) into her group. Meanwhile, frustrated with Noah's laziness and lack of attention to her requests, his wife Jill (Gillian Vigman) begins hitting the town with the newly-single Dallas and her new latin lover Yoni (Wilmer Valderrama), leading her to seriously consider divorcing Noah.

Tessa returns to Chatswin after spending the summer in Manhattan with her grandmother. Upon returning, she continues to be interested in her mother's life and decides to perform at the local talent show. While Jill is out of town for a book tour, Noah tries to get Carmen, Dallas' maid, to work for him. Lisa blackmails Sheila and Fred, after telling them she knows that Ryan is adopted.

On the day of a record signing for Saigon, Drama and Turtle make an attempt to find him when he fails to arrive. Ari dumps an old-school producer on Eric who may have Vince's next project. Meanwhile, Vince coincidentally runs into a woman at a bookstore and learns he was on her celebrity "list".

When George joins the PTA, he becomes well-liked by all the mom's, which has Shelia (Ana Gasteyer) feeling threatened. Meanwhile, Tessa joins the school newspaper and with some help, turns it into a tabloid-style paper.
