The Gavin clan stages an intervention after several disturbing family calls; the mysterious woman from the restaurant leaves Tommy wanting more; Janet must take matters into her own hands to get her baby back; and a depressed Mike calls Tommy in a moment of despair.

The drug addiction of Towelie, a living and talking towel, is growing so overwhelming that the South Park children make attempts to help him. Towelie's history is shown, using head interviews and on-screen captions (in a parody of "Intervention"), starting with years of drug addiction to marijuana, crystal meth, heroin and crack cocaine. He previously had a girlfriend named Rebecca and conceived a child with her (a washcloth), but he was kicked out of their home due to his persistently getting high. His life continued in a downward spiral, leaving him in heavy debt and offering oral sex to strangers for money in the alleys. The boys help him get a job at Lake Tardicaca, a summer camp for handicapped children, as a towel to dry off the campers. However, Towelie persists in drug use and fellating strangers in the supply closet, and is fired by the camp.

Eric gets an offer from Scott, as well as a request from Terrance McQuewick, either of which could have a major impact on his future. Turtle fires on all cylinders to save the tequila business. Despite having Christina Aguilera appear at his wife's surprise party, Ari may be unable to save his marriage. Although they've got their own problems, Eric, Ari, and Turtle join Drama, Scott, and Billy in staging an intervention for Vince, who has damaged his relationship with Sasha. Sadly, when it seems that things could not get worse, Vince goes too far at Eminem's private party.

Now that a new director has been attached to his movie, Vince tries to get Sasha a part in it, which leads to a confrontation. Ari learns from Queen Latifah that Amanda may have landed an NFL deal. Eric's assistant Jennie works on Drama to get him onboard for Billy's new series. Turtle's attempt to get funding from Mark Cuban causes problems with his Mexican boss. Unfortunately, while they are all at Vince's home, Drama, Turtle, Lloyd, Billy, and Alex discover how far Vince's drug habits have gone.

Leslie holds a sex-education class following an STD outbreak among senior citizens in Pawnee; when Tom's gadgets are taken away, Ron helps him acclimate to life without technology; April and Ben meet Congressman Murray.
