Trouble with the Curve is an upcoming sports-drama film starring Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake, Matthew Lillard, John Goodman and newcomer, Joe Massingill. The film revolves around a retiring baseball scout who brings his daughter on his final trip. Filming began in March 2012 with a projected release of September 28, 2012. This is Eastwood's first acting project since 2008's Gran Torino and the first film he will star in since In the Line of Fire to not have him as director. An aging Atlanta Braves baseball scout named Gus (Eastwood) sets out to discover if he still has value as a scout and as a dad. Gus brings his daughter (Adams) on his final scouting trip to scout a new top prospect, Bo Gentry (Massingill). Along the way Gus reconnects with Johnny (Timberlake), a rival scout who has a friendly history with Gus, the man who scouted him when he was a baseball player. Johnny also has interest in his daughter, something Gus does not approve of.

Now that Carrie is jobless, she decides to spend time trying to 'find herself'. She has a list of things she wants to do and accomplish, but never had the time before because she was too busy with her career. Doug is supportive at first, but becomes aggracated when it appears that instead of accomplishing any of her goals, she is lying on the couch, watching TV all day.

Virginia believes that the world is going to end on December 21, 2012. She has prepared for it for three years. Jimmy thinks that she is crazy, but Burt asks him to pretend. Maw Maw wants to finish her bucket-list. Jimmy wants Hope to have a perfect Christmas and Virginia's craziness is hindering that. December 21 arrives and nothing happens. Jimmy teases Virginia, but her obsessive planning and stocking finally finds its use.

Recently widowed housewife Nancy Botwin has turned to dealing marijuana to support her two sons, while also attempting to maintain her image in the picturesque suburb of Agrestic. Meanwhile, her neighbor - PTA mother Celia Hodes - learns a secret of her husband's when she tries to catch her daughter, Quinn, having sex with Nancy's son, Silas.
